Vintage American Beauty Rose Embroidery Sampler

This unfinished sampler is just gorgeous! It would look amazing if finished and framed, but even unfinished its a treat. Would look great in any number of projects. A quilt, pillow, tapestry... 20" square on what I imagine is muslin or at the least very similar. I believe this is circa 1940s. The thread might be silk or a silk blend because it has a lovely shine and softness to it. If not silk I would guess that its a natural material. In very good vintage condition, but there is some mild color bleed of some of the brighter colors onto the muslin. Gorgeous all round anyway!
