Vintage 1940s Swingline 4 Speed Products Co Stapler

Charming vintage manual stapler circa the 1940s or 1950s. About 8.5" long. Marked with Swingline Speed Stapler 4. Very Art Deco style. I don't have staplers to test it but it pushes down and seems like it should work just fine.
Excellent vintage condition. Has some mild scratches and dings and a bit of residue on one side.
