Vintage 1940s Handkerchief Naturally Hand Dyed Brown

This vintage 1940s cotton handkerchief trimmed in embroidery and cutwork has been hand dyed with berries to a warm brown grey. Measures 8.5" square.
I use natural botanical dyes I make myself from locally sourced plant and spice materials to create one of a kind and unique colors for my hand dyed items. Slight irregularities (and more so in these vintage items due to their age and previous lives) in shading and tone are to be expected and all part of their unique charm.
I recommend washing by hand with cold water to preserve the natural colors as long as possible though expect that they may gently fade over time.

Hand wash in cold water, lay flat to dry. Lightly iron or steam to flatten if you wish.
