Vintage 1940s 1950s Yellow Peasant Blouse with Floral Trim

Delightfully pretty rayon peasant top with woven trim round the neckline embellished with embroidered flowers in a rainbow of colors on yellow rayon.  Probably circa the 1940s or 1950s. Wide neckline and slightly puffed short sleeves.  I'm leaning towards this being of Mexican origin but can't say for sure.. Either way its darling. No label. Probably about smaller medium. 
Excellent vintage condition. The only things to note are a few very faint small smudges, see photos for example. Oh and the elastic in the sleeves could do with being replaced. I also believe the waist was originally stretchy too but that elastic seems totally lost it stretch. I kinda like it loose like this but you could add some new if you want that gathered waist.

Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at bust and waist.
Armpit to armpit across bust: Its meant to be somewhat loose so 40" to about 48" fully laid out
Waist: 51" where that line of elastic is
Shoulder to bottom hem: 21"
