Vintage 1940s 1950s Panda Bear Piggy Bank

Darling old piggy bank. It a black and white panda but to me it looks more like a polar bear painted to be a panda. Incredibly cute! Measures approx 4" wide by about 2" tall and is about 1.5" deep. The bottom of one foot is stamped with Made in Japan. There is no opening on the bottom to retrieve coins, one would have to break the bank to get hem out. Old piggy banks like these are pretty rare now because of this as so many were broken. 

Excellent vintage condition. Some charming minor distressed, and a couple chips that were painted over.
