Vintage 1930s Ivory Satin Wedding Gown

Stunning 1930s wedding gown in a champagne / darker ivory satin.  Absolutely beautiful! Long bishop sleeves with a very long wrist cuff ending in a V on the back of the hand, draped neckline and oh those flowers and bow at the shoulder!  Seventeen matching satin covered buttons up the back. No other closures. There is a belt that goes round back--see photos as to how this works because its not like most belts. Its cut on the bias. The satin on this is super soft. No label. Small size, I'd say.

Excellent vintage condition. That said you'll probably want to have this dry cleaned. There is not a dry cleaner near me I would trust with a dress like this, and there was no way I was getting it near any sort of water. It is structurally pretty much mint. But it does have several smudges and light marks, almost all on the train thankfully. There are also some very mild armpit stains.  Or...dont worry about the spots and just love this for exactly what it is, a wonderful piece of history that is sure to make your day feel utterly romantic! Priced too take into account a potential dry cleaner. 

Measurements when lying flat.
Shoulder to shoulder: 14"
Bust: 38" 
Waist: 30" to 34" ( its cut on the bias so the bust measurement is your most important one)
Hip: loose to about 50"
Shoulder to waist: 15" where the belt is
Shoulder to bottom hem: 62"
