Vintage 1960s Ivory Hat with Birdcage Veil and Ribbon Bow

Darling ivory topper hat, circa 1960s with a birdcage veil and ivory velvet ribbon bow. This is two layers, the bottom one is a stiff ivory faille ( I think), and atop that is a ring of what appears to be some form of synthetic fringey material. I am not familiar with this material, but it resembles grass to me actually. Attached to this is an ivory birdcage veil. There is no designer label but there is a union made label. Hat seems to be one size fits all, or at least most. Really pretty little thing and perfect for a vintage wedding.

Excellent vintage condition. There is some makeup inside the brim at the front, but that cant be seen of course when worn. It could do with a steaming and shaping.
