Antique Victorian Seamed Stockings

Wonderful floral patterned black thigh high socks or stockings. Victorian or Edwardian.  They feel like a silk cotton blend to me but I'm unsure of the exact contents.   They have a seam up the back and the heel and toe are somewhat reinforced.  The calf and feet portions are patterned with a semi transparent vaguely floral pattern. From about the knee up they are solid and opaque. 
The foot measures about 9.5-10" from tip of toe to back of heel when laid flat. The whole thing is about 34.5" long from toe to top of thigh.  They have a bit of stretch but not as much  as you'd be used to with contemporary versions.

Great vintage condition. I wouldn't call these Excellent, but I'd say great, especially considering their age. The leg portions are actually excellent. But the feet have some old darns and repairs. So there are no holes currently but you can see where there were some on both heels and toes. And one of them has the same darns to the band at the top of the thigh.  Still extremely wearable and so fun! Priced accordingly and as is.
