Antique Edwardian/Victorian White Capelet

Lovely little capelet from the turn of the last century in clean white ribbed cotton. Lots of pretty lace trim and ruffled at both neck and bottom hem.  Unlined. No label. Pretty much one size fits most I'd say. 

Excellent vintage condition, especially given its age. It should be held together at the throat with a hook and eye but that is missing, though you can tell it was there due to a small spot of rust stain where it used to be. I found a couple other pin sized little faint marks and two pinhead sized holes on the collar but that's about it.
