Vintage 1950s Woven Asian Conical Straw Hat

One of the most amazing hats I've ever had in my shop. Traditional Asian conical straw hat woven of straw or perhaps raffia. I believe this is circa the 1950s but not 100% sure. Certainly it is quite old but could go a decade or so either way. I admit to being unfortunately uneducated about traditional Asian culture but my guess is this was perhaps for more formal use than just daily wear as it has more colorful weavings and those neat ribbons. Please feel free to message me if you know more than me, I'd love to learn. The ribbons are in gold and orange and look and feels like silk to me. Measures just about 22" round the inside.

Excellent vintage condition. The hat itself is pretty much perfect. The only real thing worth noting are stains and smudges on the ribbons. The hat does have a string hanging down on one side, but I think that's just the end of the weave.
